Growing Website Traffic?
You can have the best looking website in the world, but what good does it do if nobody knows it exist? If you spent the time and money to develop a new or reinvent an existing site, then you assume there is value in having a well performing website.
What does a well performing website mean to you? Do you maintain an e-commerce site and sales dictate the performance, or do you maintain a company informational website and leads generated from the site dictate the performance? It does not matter what type of site you maintain, it only matters that you are constantly growing your website traffic to increase the probability of a well performing website!
So how do you increase website traffic? We ask ourselves this question every day. And every day we come to the same conclusion: THERE IS NO MAGICAL FORMULA TO ACCOMPLISH THIS TASK. There is however, several progressive projects that we attempt to improve on daily to increase our web presence.
Listed In No Particular Order
It is extremely difficult (or expensive if contracted out) to accomplish all at one time. This is why we have taken the daily improvement approach. Each day we try to improve on a minimum of one listed task. This is an approach that we decided on at an early stage of MIT Powder Coatings Online Store. It has allowed us the opportunity for our employees to gain the needed knowledge to accomplish these tasks, and is more sustainable than contracting the work out.
In today’s internet age, there is no lack of information. With your present knowledge of your customers, and the FREE information available via the internet, these entire tasks can be accomplished in house. All it takes is the willingness to learn, and the ability to apply said knowledge to grow your website traffic.
If you assume there is value in having a well performing website, then what steps are you taking to tell the world that your site exist, and thus owning a well performing website?
